MAXIM MAX3465 MAX3469 handbook

The MAX3465–MAX3469 are high-speed differential bus transceivers for RS-485 and RS-422 communications. They are designed to meet TIA/EIA-422-B, TIA/EIA-485-A, V.11, and X.27 standards. The transceiver complies with the Profibus specification providing +2.1V minimum output level with a 54Ω load, 40Mbps data rate, and output skew less than 2ns. Each part contains one three-state differential line driver and one differential input line receiver. The devices operate from a +5V supply and feature true fail-safe circuitry, which guarantees a logic-high receiver output when the receiver inputs are open or shorted. This enables all receiver outputs on a terminated bus to output logic highs when all transmitters are disabled. All devices feature a 1/4-standard-unit load receiver input impedance that allows 128 transceivers on the bus. Driver and receiver propagation delays are guaranteed under 20ns for multidrop, clock distribution applications. Drivers are short-circuit current limited and are protected against excessive power dissipation by thermal-shutdown circuitry. The driver and receiver feature active-high and active-low enables, respectively, that can be connected together externally to serve as a direction control. Applications include High-Speed RS-485 Communications, High-Speed RS-422 Communications, Level Translators, Industrial-Control Local Area Networks, and Profibus Applications.

MAXIM P89C660/P89C662/P89C664/P89C668 80C51 8-bit Flash microcontroller family 16KB/32KB/64KB ISP/IAP FLASH with 512B/1KB/2KB/8KB RAM handbook

The MAX6326/MAX6327/MAX6328/MAX6346/MAX6347/MAX6348 are microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuits used to monitor the power supplies in µP and digital systems. They provide excellent circuit reliability and low cost by eliminating external components and adjustments when used with 2.5V, 3V, 3.3V, and 5V powered circuits. These circuits perform a single function: they assert a reset signal whenever the VCC supply voltage declines below a preset threshold, keeping it asserted for at least 100ms after VCC has risen above the reset threshold. The only difference between the devices is their output. The MAX6326/MAX6346 (push-pull) and MAX6328/MAX6348 (open-drain) have an active-low reset output. The MAX6327/MAX6347 have an active-high push-pull reset output. All of these parts are guaranteed to be in the correct state for VCC down to 1V. The reset comparator is designed to ignore fast transients on VCC. Reset thresholds are factory-trimmable between 2.2V and 4.63V, in approximately 100mV increments. Twenty-one standard versions are available. Contact the factory for availability of nonstandard versions. Ultra-low supply currents (1µA max for the MAX6326/MAX6327/MAX6328) make these parts ideal for use in portable equipment. All six devices are available in space-saving SOT23 and SC70 packages.

MAXIM MAX509/MAX510 handbook

The MAX509/MAX510 are quad, serial-input, 8-bit voltage-output digital-to-analog converters (DACs). They operate with a single +5V supply or dual ±5V supplies. Internal, precision buffers swing rail-to-rail. The reference input range includes both supply rails. The MAX509 has four separate reference inputs, allowing each DAC's full-scale range to be set independently. 20-pin DIP, SSOP, and SO packages are available. The MAX510 is identical to the MAX509 except it has two reference inputs, each shared by two DACs. The MAX510 is housed in space-saving 16-pin DIP and SO packages. The serial interface is double-buffered: A 12-bit input shift register is followed by four 8-bit buffer registers and four 8-bit DAC registers. A 12-bit serial word is used to load data into each register. Both input and DAC registers can be updated independently or simultaneously with single software commands. Two additional asynchronous control pins provide simultaneous updating (LDAC) or clearing (CLR) of input and DAC registers. The interface is compatible with MicrowireTM and SPI/ QSPITM. All digital inputs and outputs are TTL/CMOS compatible. A buffered data output provides for read-back or daisy-chaining of serial devices.

MAXIM MAX4737/MAX4738/MAX4739 handbook

MAX4737/MAX4738/MAX4739 is a low voltage, low on-resistance (RON) quad single-pole/single throw (SPST) analog switch operating from a single +1.8V to +5.5V supply. These devices are designed for USB 1.1 and audio switching applications. The MAX4737/MAX4738/MAX4739 feature 4.5Ω RON (max) with 1.2Ω flatness and 0.4Ω matching between channels. These new switches feature guaranteed operation from +1.8V to +5.5V and are fully specified at 3V and 5V. These switches offer break-before-make switching (1ns) with tON <80ns and tOFF <40ns at +2.7V. The digital logic inputs are +1.8V logic compatible with a +2.7V to +3.6V supply. These switches are packaged in a chip-scale package (UCSP™), significantly reducing the required PC board area. The chip occupies only a 2mm ✕ 2mm area and has a 4 ✕ 4 bump array with a bump pitch of 0.5mm. These switches are also available in a 14-pin TSSOP package.

MAXIM MAX4356 handbook

The MAX4356 is a 16 ✕ 16 highly integrated video crosspoint switch matrix with input and output buffers and On-Screen Display (OSD) Insertion. This device operates from dual ±3V to ±5V supplies or from a sin- gle +5V supply. Digital logic is supplied from an inde- pendent single +2.7V to +5.5V supply. Individual outputs can be switched between an input video signal source and OSD information through an internal, dedi- cated fast 2:1 mux (40ns switching times) located before the output buffer. All inputs and outputs are buffered, with all outputs able to drive standard 75Ω reverse-terminated video loads. The switch matrix configuration and output buffer gain are programmed via an SPI/QSPI™-compatible, three- wire serial interface and initialized with a single update signal. The unique serial interface operates in two modes facilitating both fast updates and initialization. On power-up, all outputs are initialized in the disabled state to avoid output conflicts in large-array configura- tions. Superior flexibility, high integration, and space-saving packaging make this nonblocking switch matrix ideal for routing video signals in security and video-on- demand systems. The MAX4356 is available in a 128-pin TQFP package and specified over an extended -40°C to 85°C temper- ature range.
