MAXIM MAX748A/MAX763A 3.3V Step-Down Current-Mode PWM DC-DC Converters Manual

The MAX748A/MAX763A is a 3.3V output CMOS step-down switching regulator. The MAX748A accepts inputs from 3.3V to 16V and delivers up to 500mA. The MAX763A accepts inputs between 3.3V and 11V and delivers up to 500mA. Typical efficiencies are 85% to 90%. Quiescent supply current is 1.4mA (MAX763A), and only 0.2µA in shutdown. Pulse-width-modulation (PWM) current-mode control provides precise output regulation and excellent transient responses. Output voltage accuracy is guaranteed to be ±5% over line, load, and temperature variations. Fixed-frequency switching allows easy filtering of output ripple and noise, as well as the use of small external components. A 22µH inductor works in most applications, so no magnetics design is necessary. The MAX748A/MAX763A also feature cycle-by-cycle cur- rent limiting, overcurrent limiting, undervoltage lockout, and programmable soft-start protection. The MAX748A is available in 8-pin DIP and 16-pin wide SO packages; the MAX763A comes in 8-pin DIP and SO packages.

MAXIM MAXQ622 Manual

This document is an errata sheet for MAXQ622 revision B1 components, describing the abnormal behaviors of these components in certain situations. The errata sheet provides workarounds. The main issues include the watchdog timer reset locking the IC in reset and flash program/erase operations failing in clock-divided mode.

MAXIM MAXQ1010 Manual

This file describes situations where MAXQ1010 revision A1 components perform differently than expected or differently than described in the data sheet.

MAXIM MAXQ612 Manual

This document describes two errors of MAXQ612 revision B1 chip. The first error is that when the internal oscillator (PLL) is used in divide-by-4 mode as system clock, the watchdog timer reset will lock the IC, and a power cycle is required to recover. The second error is that flash word programming and page erase operations do not complete successfully when invoked with clock divide-by-2, divide-by-4, or divide-by-8 modes active.

MAXIM MAX4854 Manual

MAX4854 is a 4-way single-pole/single-throw switch that is powered by a single supply of +2V to +5.5V and can handle signals that are greater than the supply swing. The switch has a low on-resistance and low on-capacitance, making it ideal for data signal switching. For over-range applications, signals that are greater than the positive supply (up to +5.5V) can still pass through the switch without distortion. MAX4854 is housed in a space-saving, 16-pin, 3mm x 3mm thin QFN package and operates in an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

MAXIM MAX13442E/MAX13443E/MAX13444E handbook

The MAX13442E/MAX13444E are fault-protected RS-485 and J1708 transceivers that feature ±80V protection from signal faults on communication bus lines. The MAX13442E/MAX13444E feature a reduced slew-rate driver that minimizes EMI and reflections, allowing error-free transmission up to 250kbps. The MAX13443E driver can transmit up to 10Mbps. The high-speed MAX13443E RS-485 tranceiver features ±60V protection from signal faults on communication bus lines. These transceivers feature foldback current limit. Each device contains one differential line driver with three-state output and one differential line receiver with three-state input. The 1/4-unit-load receiver input impedance allows up to 128 transceivers on a single bus. The devices operate from a 5V supply. True fail-safe inputs guarantee a logic-high receiver output when the receiver inputs are open, shorted, or connected to an idle data line. Hot-swap circuitry eliminates false transitions on the data bus during circuit initialization or connection to a live backplane. Short-circuit current-limiting and thermal-shutdown circuitry protect the driver against excessive power dissipation, and on-chip ±15kV ESD protection eliminates costly external protection devices. The MAX13442E/MAX13443E/MAX13444E are available in an 8-pin SO package and are specified over the automotive temperature range.

MAXIM MAX4729/MAX4730 Manual

MAX4729/MAX4730 are single-pole / double-throw (SPDT) switches that operate from a single supply voltage of +1.8V to +5.5V. At +2.7V supply, these switches feature a low on-resistance (RON) of 3.5Ω and RON flatness of 0.45Ω. Typical operation draws only 1nA of supply current, making them ideal for low-power portable applications. MAX4729/MAX4730 have low leakage current over the entire extended temperature range and feature TTL/CMOS compatible digital logic and excellent AC characteristics.
