JSP TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION Aries Safety Spectacles handbook

This document provides technical specifications for the safety spectacles manufactured by JSP Ltd. The spectacles meet the requirements of EN 166 and have obtained the EC Type Examination Certificate issued by BSi Product Certification. The lens and frame of the spectacles offer protection against low energy high speed particles and comply with the highest optical class 1 requirements. The spectacles should be worn comfortably and securely on the head before entering the hazard area. Cleaning should be done using a mild detergent solution and abrasive substances or solvents should not be used. The spectacles should be stored in the provided packaging, away from direct sunlight and chemical/abrasive substances. They are not suitable for protection against dusts, liquids, or molten metals. If the spectacles become scratched or damaged, they should be replaced. Contact with the skin may cause allergic reactions to susceptible individuals, in which case the spectacles should be removed and medical advice sought.
