MOTOROLA MAC16C SERIES Manual

Motorola Thyristor Device Data is a datasheet about Motorola Thyristor devices. These devices are primarily designed for full wave AC control applications, such as motor controls, heating controls, or dimmers, where full-wave, silicon gate-controlled devices are needed. They have high commutating di/dt and high immunity to dv/dt at 125°C. The devices minimize the need for snubber networks for protection. They have a blocking voltage of up to 800 volts, an on-state current rating of 16 amperes RMS, and a high surge current capability of 150 amperes.
