This document describes a method for transferring methods to the Agilent 1290 Infinity LC system using the Agilent Intelligent System Emulation Technology (ISET). ISET can be used to transfer methods between the Agilent 1100 series quaternary LC systems and the Agilent 1290 Infinity LC systems, which have different mixing characteristics and larger delay volumes. By using ISET, almost identical retention times and separation efficiencies can be achieved.
