Microbubble destruction for medical ultrasound imaging
Update: 24 November, 2023
The present patent application discloses microbubble destruction for medical ultrasound imaging. By identifying the locations of the contrast agent response, an intensity based measure of the contrast agent signal is used to control the duration of microbubble destruction conducted with a medical ultrasound scanner. Feedback from motion of the transducer may be used to indicate to the user when sufficient destruction has been perceived. The combination of both the intensity based measure and the transducer motion may be used to control the duration of the blasting.
